He was predeceased by: his sisters, Eva LaPlante of Oxford and Theresa Voorhis of Webster; his brother-in-law Robert Voorhis of Webster; and his parents, Francis A. and Eva LaPlante Sr. (Prunier).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn F. LaPlante (Whitcomb) of Millbury; his sons, Francis A. LaPlante III of Charlton and Matthew J. LaPlante (Susan) of Millbury; his sister Dr. Linda Bressler (Martin Bressler) of Maine; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Jeremy, Brendon (Danielle) of Connecticut, Danielle and Hunter LaPlante; and his great grandchildren, Colten, Finn and Jaxson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Family Home (36 Stone Rd, Millbury, MA 01527).
MILLBURY – Francis A. LaPlante Jr., 81, of Stone Road, died Thursday, March 20, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease in his home surrounded by his loving family.
