With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane H. Thompson of Millbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 7, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hubbard and Frances Hubbard (Dolbeare). She is survived by: her husband William I. Thompson III; her children, Carrie T. Efinger (George) of Somerset, NJ, Kristin E. Franger (Robert) of Shrewsbury, MA, Heather Fetterly (Christopher) of Sterling, MA and William I. Thompson IV (Anne) of Melrose, MA; her niece Wendy Quirion; and her siblings, Judith Hubbard, Frances Hubbard and Dwight Hubbard (Judy). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

“My thoughts were of Diane and Bill whom I met at University of Colorado in 1965 when they were leaders of Campus Crusade for Christ and newly married. I sadly found this notice of Diane's passing. I last saw Diane when a brief visit to them in Massachusetts in 1970 when I lived in New York City. I later married a minister in 1981 and currently live in Santa Barbara, CA. I am grateful for their leadership and example as a young woman. I'm sorry we lost touch over the years!”
