She was predeceased by: her former husband William Giegold; and her sisters, Erica Winn and Evelyn Provost. She is survived by: her husband John D. Sisson; her children, Martha Giegold and Carl Giegold; her grandchildren, Madeline Giegold and Jeffery Giegold; and also, Joan, Pam and Jay.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Red Cross (Western Mass) or Old Parish Church c/o Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, 426 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230, who is caring for the arrangements.
