He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lavan and Gertrude Lavan (Boswell); his son Manuel W. Lavan of Milford, MA; and his brother Vincent Lavan of New York. He is survived by: his wife Georgina Lavan (Burgan); his son Joshua Lavan of Taunton, MA; his grandchildren, Malik William Lavan of Taunton, MA, Christian Rachel Lavan of Taunton, MA and Araya Georgina Lavan of Taunton, MA; his siblings, Robert Lavan of Florida, John Lavan of New York, Austin Lavan of New York, Paul Lavan of New York, Kenneth Lavan of California, Eva Helen Garcia of California and Gertrude Lavan of Georgia; and his mother-in-law Addie Burgan of Natick, MA.. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
