He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth H. Wellman (Hayes); his parents, Raymond B. Wellman and Sarah A. Wellman (Potter); and his sisters, Barbara "Arline" Cooper and Joanne Saunders.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Wellman (Estelle) of Kennebunkport, ME and Evelyn Heinrich of Chelmsford; and his cousin Joan St. James. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
