She was predeceased by: her spouse Alberto Filipe Correia; her parent Francisco Simoes; and her sisters, Estefana Abreu and Ruth Violante. She is survived by: her parent Maria Rita Matos Abrantes; her son Alberto Abrantes Correia (Sharon); her grandchildren, Alexis Abrantes Forgit (Christopher Forgit) of Milford and Emily Elizabeth Correia of Boston; and her great grandchild Chase Abrantes Forgit of Milford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
