With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Edwin Miller Sr. of Milford, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 30, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary M. Miller (Mills); his father Lloyd Miller; and his sister June Spencer of Tioga, TX.. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy P. Miller (Hansen) of South Dennis, MA.; his sons, James E. Miller Jr. (Laurie) of Worcester, MA and Robert H. Miller (Elizabeth) of Milford, MA; and his friend Jeanette Thomas of North Attleboro, MA. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Aaron Zenus Foundation in support of the Milford area.

“Joanne and I were deeply saddened to learn of Jim Miller's passing. He and his family were loyal supporters of my Senate campaigns and that friendship and support will not be forgotten. He gave unselfishly to the community and helped celebrate the history of this region and America so others would understand this region's contribution to the preservation of the Union as a Civil War re-enactor and skilled videographer. Our prayers are with him & the entire family. May Jim, Sr. rest in peace.”
