It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Sawai of Milford, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadao Kubota and Nui Kubota (Miyawaki); her husband George T. Sawai; and her siblings, Martha, Mary and Jim Kubota.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Shirley K. Sawai (Jeff Brand) of Buckeye, AZ, Jane C. Mazzucotelli (Fran) of Westford, MA and Elaine S. Hays (Greg) of Milford, MA.; her grandchildren, Brent Landrum (Nina) of Mesa, AZ, Amy Mazzucotelli of Woburn, MA, Kelsey Landrum of Los Angeles, CA, Alyssa Mazzucotelli of Westford, MA, Nicole and Kimberly Hays of Milford, MA.; her great grandchild Jaxon Taylor; and her sister Ruth Shibuta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that all who enter the funeral home please wear a face mask due to recent outbreaks.
