It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald J. Caruso of Milford, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, James "Jimmy" Caruso and Claire Leaman; and his parents, James Caruso and Clara Caruso (Gustafson). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Caruso; his daughters, Meredith and Courtney Caruso; his children-in-law, Romeo Solviletti, Ted Matwijec, Nellie Solviletti and Cora Caruso; his brother John Caruso; his nephews, Thomas and Daniel Mitchell; and his niece Sheilah Boothby.

Donations in Jerry's honor may be made to Jose Mateo's Ballet Theatre. As former chair of their Board of Directors, Jerry shared in the belief that ballet should be accessible to participants of all racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds and that dance is a joyful means of educating, connecting, and enriching our communities: https://www.ballettheatre.org.
