He was predeceased by: his siblings, James "Jimmy" Caruso and Claire Leaman; and his parents, James Caruso and Clara Caruso (Gustafson). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Caruso; his daughters, Meredith and Courtney Caruso; his children-in-law, Romeo Solviletti, Ted Matwijec, Nellie Solviletti and Cora Caruso; his brother John Caruso; his nephews, Thomas and Daniel Mitchell; and his niece Sheilah Boothby.
