Estelle L. Richard Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Estelle L. Richard of Milford, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Raymond H. McCausland Jr.; her husband Joseph Hector Richard; her son Michael McCausland; her grandson Matthew Alger; and her parents, Valmore Poulin and Hermance Poulin (Audet).
She is survived by: her children, Douglas McCausland (Maureen) of Millbury, Annette Clark of Milford and Pamela McCausland of Grafton; her stepchildren, William Richard (Karen) of Paxton, Donald Richard of Rutland, Michael Richard (Ellen) of Millbury, Maureen Richard of Worcester and Robin Richard of Worcester; her grandchildren, Christopher, Eric, Melissa, Sarah, Meaghan, Molly, Ryan, Brian, Jessica and Jillian; and her daughter-in-law Nicole Rankin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anne's Church (130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA 01545). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Vernon Grove Cemetery (100 Depot St, Milford, MA 01757).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the New England Conservatory of Music in Estelle's memory.
