It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dominic John Sgammato of Milford, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 6, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Biaggio "Blaise" Sgammato and Margaret Sgammato (McBreen); and his sister Mary Cronce of Stamford, CT. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his siblings, Rose Annis of Round Top, NY and Joseph Sgammato (Judy) of Norwalk, CT.; his grandchildren, John, Lorna Sgammato of Plymouth, MA and William (Lisa); his children, Jane (Dan Abernethy), Mary, Margaret, Pegeen Dossantos (Jordan), Thomas (Michelle), Benjamin (Jennie), Devereux, Marita Carroll of Manhattan and Joseph (Lynn); and his grandchildren, Dominic, Timothy and Gemma of Wells, Maine.. He is also survived by his children, their spouses.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Mary of the Assumption Church Renovation Fund, c/o the St. Mary's Church Offices, 17 Winter Street, Milford MA 01757, a cause Jack strongly supported.
