He was predeceased by: his wife Teresa E. Lyons (Leonard); and his brother Francis Lyons of South Boston. He is survived by: his children, Rob Lyons (Jenny) of Milford, Kevin Lyons of Milford, Greg Lyons (Kristen) of Milford and Christina Lyons of Milford; his grandchildren, Robby, Hanorah, Fiona and Garin; and his siblings, Richard Lyons of Wales, James Lyons of England, Mary O'Dea of Ireland, Cyril Lyons of West Roxbury, Albert Lyons of Stoneham, Noreen Lynch of Medford, Bridget Gillis of Sanbornton, NH and George Lyons of Plainfield, CT.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home (42 Congress St, Milford, MA 01757). Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. Mary's Church (17 Winter St, Milford, MA 01757). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
