He was predeceased by: his parents, Dana W. Hanchett Sr. and Mildred E. Hanchett (Sturtevant); and his brother Richard Hanchett. He is survived by: his wife Maria Hanchett (Zanotti); his daughters, Staci M. Hanchett of Milford, MA and Christina M. "Chrissy" Hanchett (Ben Imhof) of Uxbridge, MA; his grandchildren, Isabel Hanchett-Lopez, Mariana Lopez and Joshua Imhof; and his sister Ruth Sinclair-Stephens of Plainville, CT. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
