He was predeceased by: his wife Doris L. Nixon (Leitch); his parents, Eino W. and A. Nixon (Kimball); and his former wife Jean M. Nixon (Dimitri). He is survived by: his daughters, Terry A. (Jon Foose) of Northbridge and Bonnie L. (John Thackston) of East Falmouth; his grandchildren, Taylor Thackston and Tim Clay; his great grandchildren, Harper and Isla Clay of Mashpee; his grandchildren, Joanna and Keith Trimby; his great grandchildren, Layla and Silas of North Brookfield; his grandchildren, Aarikka and Christopher Burgess; and his great grandchildren, Theo, Henry of North Oxford and Adam Thackston (Emileigh Shoemaker) of South Carolina.
