Catherine J. Fumia Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2020, at the age of 93, Catherine J. Fumia (Milford, Massachusetts) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine J. Fumia to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony Peter Fumia; her parents, Mary Collari and Antonio Figlioli; and her brothers, Joseph and Ralph Figlioli.
She is survived by: her children, David Fumia (Marilyn), Jane Tuohey (Brian) of North Eastham, Doreen Fumia (Colleen Kearney) of Toronto and Annette Kirby (James) of Londonderry, NH; and her grandchildren, Adam Fumia, Colin Tuohey (Kara), Catherine Chapman-Smith (Lauren), Daniel Chapman-Smith, Joanna Chapman-Smith (Ewan), Timothy Chapman-Smith (Casey), Kelly Ballentine (Ryan) and Ryan Kirby (Sara-Lynn). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
This time of COVID-19 was a challenge for us all, and in true form our Mom rose to the challenge of technology and lived her conviction: 'one foot in front of the other, tomorrow will be easier than today.' During her last days, she appreciated added support from Hospice caregivers who ensured her a peaceful passing.
