He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustino LaPreste and Emma LaPreste (Antelli); and his sisters, Barbara Fitzpatrick, Mary C. Joy and Jean LaPreste.
He is survived by: his wife Carol A. LaPreste (Knight); and his sons, Mark A. LaPreste of Milford and Scott A. LaPreste of Ipswich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
