She was predeceased by: her son Daryl; her husband James; and her siblings, Fred, Claude, Wally, Ken, Brian, Oscar, George, Lucille and Marjorie.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Thayer; her son-in-law Verne Thayer; her grandchildren, James Thayer and Wendy Marino (Thayer); her grandson-in-law George "Nappy" Marino; her great grandchildren, Michael and Abby Marino; her brother Noel Turvey; and her sister-in-law Jan Turvey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Countryside Health Care, where Adelaide received more than three years' worth of the most wonderful and compassionate care available by the most brave, caring, and committed staff one could imagine, to support its on-going efforts providing world-class nursing care.
