He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Holario Correia and Docelinda Correia (Mello); his wife Alaide Correia (Silva); his daughter Maria Correia (Barry Hobey); his granddaughter Sophia Hobey of Middleton; and his brother Lazaro Correia.
