He is survived by: his wife Anne Fitzsimmons (Klein); his children, Maryann Patterson (Dana) of Braintree, Kathy Fitzsimmons of South Boston, Caroline Goolsby (William) of South Boston, William Fitzsimmons (Cynthia) of Tewksbury, Christine Bergeron (Robert) of Attleboro, James Telfer of Florida and Barbara Jackson of South Carolina; his siblings, Robert Fitzsimmons of Melrose, Joan Pike of Brockton, Mary Hachey of East Bridgewater and Rita Chamberlin of Billerica; and his former wife Patricia Fitzsimmons of South Boston.
