He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leola Sr (Lively) and Joseph Freitas Sr.; his spouse Patricia Freitas (Salley); his children, Jennifer Lee Carter (Paul) of Middleborough, Jonathan Freitas (Michelle Tees) of Middleborough and Jamie Yelton (Nick) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Andrew, Adeline, Amelia Carter, Haley Washburn, Natalie and Jonathan Jr.; his sibling David Freitas; and his nieces and nephews, Scott Freitas, Todd Freitas, Cathleen Salley and Arnold Salley.
