He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Briggs and Una Briggs (Gilbert); and his wife Alice Briggs (Robinson). He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Gauthier (David) of Berkley and Brian Briggs (Maureen) of Taunton; and his granddaughters, Sarah Gauthier and Hannah Gauthier.
