It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest R. Varnum of Middleborough, Massachusetts, born in Warrensburg, New York, who passed away on December 19, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Varnum and Matilda Varnum (Baker); his wife Ethel F. Varnum (Ouellette); and his sister Ellen Perspare. He is survived by: his daughter Martha L. Varnum of Dighton; and his brother James Varnum of New York. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to the visitation at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed with a funeral service starting at 11:00 AM. **LIMIT OF 25 PEOPLE AT ALL TIMES, INSIDE THE FUNERAL HOME** Due to the pandemic, a face mask and social distance rules must be followed at all times.
