She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer W. Maxim and Doris L. Maxim (Leonard); her spouse Melville "Bud" T. Matthews; and her sister Dorothy Vaughan. She is survived by: her children, Richmond Matthews (Debra) of Wareham, Thomas Matthews, Jr. (Lois) of Middleborough, Deborah Harlow of Middleborough and Suzanne Matthews of Limerick, Maine; and her siblings, Lucy Fearing of Mattapoisett, Bessy Lindenmoth of Maryland, Susan Westgate of Wareham, Elizabeth Williams of Mattapoisett, Nathan Maxim and Elmer Maxim, Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
