She was predeceased by: her husband George W. Steele; her parents, Loyed Woodland and Julia Woodland (Butler); and her siblings, Loyed S. Woodland II (Geraldine) and Richard Woodland (Lynn).

She is survived by: her son Eric Loyed Steele (Elisabeth Rose-Steele) of Middleborough. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
