He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Reed Phillips of Middleborough and Eleanor Cogar of Maine; his grandson Jonathan D. Reed; his sister Annette Maddigan; his niece Heather Colleary of Duxbury; and his close friend Margaret Jackson (Dorothy M. Reed) of Middleborough.
