He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen C. McGuirk (McNulty); his parents, Michael McGuirk and Anna McGuirk (Wade); his son Peter McGuirk; and his brother Robert McGuirk.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen McGuirk (Shari) of Marblehead, Robert McGuirk (Linda) of Meredith, NH and Mike McGuirk (Renee) of West Newbury; his grandchildren, Emma McGuirk of Newton, Lily McGuirk of Marblehead, McKenzie of Merdith, NH, Joseph of Merdith, NH, Rachael McGuirk of Merdith, NH, Connor McGuirk of Waltham, Brennan McGuirk of Boston, Annabel McGuirk of Ashville, NC and Eliza McGuirk of West Newbury; and his sisters, Lorraine Russell of Taunton and Patricia Morin.
