It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Akstin Sr. of Middleboro, Massachusetts, born in Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 17, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Akstin and Martha Akstin (Juckubauski); and his sibling Beverly Martynowski. He is survived by: his children, Joe J. Akstin (Corrie) of Buzzards Bay, Denise M. Goldsmith (Rick), Easton and John W. Akstin, Jr. (Victoria) of Bridgewater; his grandchildren, Danielle, Derrick, Jason and Brittany; his great grandchildren, Gracie, Isabella, Kaylee, Payton and Niko; and his former wife Rose Akstin (Germinario).
