He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Duggan and Mary Hildegarde Duggan (O'Brien); his wife Susan J. Duggan (McGrath); and his grandson Paul James Duggan. He is survived by: his children, Maureen S. Redmond (Brian) of Pembroke, James F. Duggan, Jr. (Kathleen Kelly) of Newington, Conn., Michael G. Duggan (Karen) of Guilford, Conn., Francis P. Duggan (Karin) of Glastonbury, Conn., Kathleen M. Kayne (David) of Trumbull, Conn., Patrick J. Duggan (Susan) of Holbrook, Teresa M. LaMonica (John) of Duxbury and Virginia H. McGregor (Adam) of Marshfield; his granddaughter Kellie Mary Duggan; his sister-in-law Carol McGrath; his niece Karen A. Geary (Ted); and his nephew Daniel P. McGrath. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, their spouses, and six great-grandchildren.
