He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen "Joyce" (Mangan); his son Gerard Cullen, Jr.; his parents, Hugh Cullen and Margaret Cullen (Conroy) of Ireland; and his siblings, Mary Cullen, Theresa Holland, Rudy Cullen, Chet Cullen and Tom Cullen.
He is survived by: his children, Helena "Nina" Cullen-Hamzeh (Ziad Hamzeh), Denise Miller (Kenneth Mayo), Andrew Cullen (Christine) and David Cullen (Sarah); his grandchildren, Christopher Hamzeh (Josie), Fiona DiGiandomenico (John), Kaleb Cullen (Lee Badeau), Mathew Miller (Emily), Alexander Hamzeh, Sebastian Hamzeh, Kyle Cullen, Xavier Cullen and Olivia Cullen; his friend Rosemary Nelson; and his siblings, Jerry, Peggy Burnham, Patsy Rush, Beverly O'Neill and Frannie Mahony. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
