He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Gay and Katherine Gay (Kmiec); and his sisters, Elaine Lopes, Joanne Costa and Anita Gay.
He is survived by: his children, Frank A. Gay, III of Taunton, Susan A. Gay of Taunton, Nancy Stavrou of Taunton and Michele Spence of Clarksville, TN; his grandchildren, Nevin Campbell, Nicholas Navarro, Ryan Stavrou, Taylor and Christian Spence; and his great grandchild Ellie Navarro.
