He is survived by: his children, Richard, Larry, Paul Harju and Brandy Ganley; his siblings, Jay McAssey (Joanne), Terry Harju (Richard), Sandy McAssey and Lisa McAssey; his close friend Lori Kazlowski; and his pet Romeo. He is also survived by two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, three great nieces, three great nephews.
