He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jacqueline Ann Cavanaugh (McLaughlin); his parents, James Francis Cavanaugh and Loretta Mae Cavanaugh (Morgan); his sons, Michael Patrick Cavanaugh and Daniel James Cavanaugh of Middleboro; his grandson Logan James Cavanaugh; and his siblings, James Cavanaugh (Cynthia) of Mansfield, Kathleen Silva of Wareham, Richard Cavanaugh (Jenny Golden) of Easton, Gloria Sullivan (Arthur) of Randolph, Russell Cavanaugh (Laurie) of Myrtle Beach, Robert Cavanaugh (Randi) of West Bridgewater, David Cavanaugh (Patricia) of Mansfield, Ronald Cavanaugh (Amy) of New Bedford and Madeline Ann Heffernan. He was also cherished by many his nieces nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dennis's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
