He is survived by: his children, Matthew Carey, Nichole Daponte, Mariah Donovan and Jenna Carey; and his siblings, Lynn Smith of Florida, Robin Carey of Middleboro, Robert W. Carey, III of Middleboro and Jean Weidinger of California. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
