He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Barry and Virginia C. Barry (Hodgson); and his brother John F. Barry Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Christine E. Barry (Silva) of Methuen, MA; his children, Ryan J. Barry (Jennifer) of Wakefield, MA, Michael L. Barry (Hannah) of Haverhill, MA and Lauren E. Barry of Seattle, Washington; and his siblings, Mary V. Stranger (Robert), Kathleen B. Stranger (Thomas) of Portsmouth, NH, Susan M. Lambert (Scott) of Hampton, NH and Michael C. Barry of Methuen, MA.. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home (38 Range Rd, Windham, NH 03087). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Monica's Church (212 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA 01844).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
