He was predeceased by: his parents, Francesco Salafia and Angelina Salafia (Messina); his wife Rose Salafia (Alaimo); his siblings, Lucy, Sammy, Mickey, Jimmy, Johnny and Mary; and his brothers-in-law, Michael and Richard Alaimo.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Salafia, Jr. (Amy), Michael Salafia (Kathy) and Joseph Salafia (Julia); his grandchildren, Skip, Mark Silva, Melissa Aldrich (Garrett), Jen, Alicia Salafia, Adam Salafia (Jill Upton) and Cassandra Maki (Colin); and his great grandchildren, Wayne, Anabelle and Garrett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
