He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Danahy (Guilmette) and James "Skippy" Danahy. He is survived by: his wife Faith Danahy; his children, Cassie Ouellette (Nick Ouellette) of Essex, MA, Shawn C. Danahy Jr. (Shailyn Harrington) of Amesbury, MA and Kelli Danahy of Amesbury, MA; his grandchildren, Cade and Kai Ouellette; his siblings, James Danahy Jr. (Robin Russell), Shane Danahy Sr., Kyle Danahy (April), Dawn Giarusso (Bill), Maureen Genakos (Jack) and Frances LeSaffre (Chris); his son Shane Danahy Jr.; and his pet Finnegan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins; his in-laws.
