It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Thomas Gioia Jr. of Methuen, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 27, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Gioia and Sandra Gioia (Santagati). He is survived by: his wife Donna Gioia (Peters) of Methuen, MA; his children, Angela Atkinson (Dana) of Haverhill, MA, Peter Gioia III (Mary) of Methuen, MA, Michael Gioia (Catherine) of Danville, NH and Mark Gioia (Kimberly) of Auburn, NH.; his grandchildren, Joshua, April, Alixe, Dean, Adam, Landon, Brayden, Camilla, Benjamin, Tyler and Sophia; and his sisters, Nancy Forzese (Thomas) and Nina Charpentier (Thomas). He is also survived by many sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
