He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin J. McGowan, Sr. and Agnes Rose McGowan (Silke); and his brothers, Jim McGowan and Bob McGowan. He is survived by: his wife Marianne (Coughlin) of Methuen, MA; his children, Annemarie Witzgall (Jim) of North Reading, MA, Patricia Chapter (Ron) of Derry, NH and Martin J. McGowan (late Cathy) of Fremont, NH; his granddaughters, Kellie Stedman, Christine Freeman, Michaela Chapter and Lauren Witzgall; his great grandchildren, Brooke Stedman, Abby Stedman and Savannah Freeman; and his brother-in-law Phil Henry (late Martha).
