With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lorraine R. Laverriere of Methuen, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lorraine left this world on February 3, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Moreau and Louis Moreau of Lawrence, MA; her brother Joseph of Methuen, MA; her nephews, Greg and Jason Moreau; and her siblings, Dennis Moreau (Faye) of Pennsylvania, Elaine Wheeler (Gerald) of Utah, Joan Sousa of Cambridge, MA, Louise Muise of Washington, DC, Richard, John and David.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Laverriere of Warwick, RI, Philip "Chip" Laverriere, Jr. of Roseburg, OR and Toby Laverriere (Kelly Campbell) of Lawrence, MA; her granddaughter Jazmine Laverriere of Suncook, NH; her stepdaughters, Frances Landry of Salem, NH, Patricia Rodewald (Michael) of North Andover, MA and Maureen LaPlume (Jerry) of Salem, NH; her sister Jane Simone of Methuen, MA; her niece Cheryl Bigham (Craig); her great-nephew Matthew of Methuen, MA; her sister-in-law Lucy Moreau; her friend Maritza Izzett of Lawrence, MA; and also Philip F. Laverriere, Sr.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and of course, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home and Cremation Service (80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Monica Parish (212 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA 01844).
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Compassus or Tufts Hospice, who were absolutely wonderful at end of life for Lorraine.
