She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore Zakia; and her parents, William Gunter and Mabel Gunter (Miller). She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl L. Sirois of Methuen and Christine S. Abruzzi (John) of Hampstead, NH.; her grandchildren, Kristen Bisio (Peter), Matthew Sirois, Todd Sirois, Benjamin Abruzzi, Adam Abruzzi (Julie), Eric Buckheit, Keith Buckheit and Theordore T. Gardner; her great grandchildren, Kayla Buckheit (Savannah), Matthew Bisio, Danielle Jalbert, Gunner Benjamin, Casey Chretien, Juliette Swain, Emma Swain and Lydia Swain; her great great grandchild Alaïa Buckheit; and her son Theodore T. Zakia.
