In loving memory of John J McDermott of Methuen, Massachusetts, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, who departed this world on September 14, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, James McDermott and Clare McDermott (Sifferlen); his brother James; his sister-in-law Thelma McDermott; and his daughter-in-law Kimberly McDermott.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra McDermott (Skop); his children, Brian McDermott, Thomas (Elizabeth McDermott) and Kathleen McDermott; his grandchildren, James, Sean, Brianna, Declan, Tristan and Taylor; and his brother Robert (Maribeth McDermott) of Sarasota, FL.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home (80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St Lucy Church (254 Merrimack St, Methuen, MA 01844).
