Jean E. Dowling Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean E. Dowling of Methuen, Massachusetts, born in Swampscott, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Wood and Gladys Wood (Channell); her children, Debra Dowling-Little and James Dowling; her brothers, Sonny Wood and George Wood; and also, James Dowling and Robert Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Kalil-Willett (Gary) of Epping, NH and David Dowling of New Boston, NH; her daughter-in-law Nancy Dowling; her grandchildren, Shayna Gagnon (Jerry), Alicia Kalil, Jennifer Dowling (Mark), James Dowling (Nikki), Derek Dowling, Lisa Modugno (Adderly Gonzalez), Jason McCarthy, Kim McCarthy, Peter Lovasco (Lynette), Kayla Quimby (Chris Quimby) and Jeremy Beaulieu; and her brother Thomas Wood (Pat) of Illinois. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Solimine Funeral Home - Broadway (426 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Swampscott Cemetery (400 Essex St, Swampscott, MA 01907).
