He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Madera and Ernestina Madera (Perez). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Madera (Perez); his sons, Irving Madera, Jr. (Lisa Jones) of Methuen and Jose Louis Madera (Tammy Hardacre) of Methuen; his grandchildren, Destiny Irene Bennett (Alex), Jose Madera, Jr. and Joshua Madera; his great grandchildren, Mia Bennett and Daniel Bennett; and his brother Victor Madera.
