He was predeceased by: his parents, Girard H. Gagnon and Josephine Gagnon (Michaud); his wife Carol Gagnon (Connors); and his son Gary Gagnon. He is survived by: his son Dan (Diane); his grandchildren, Jeffery (Mike Pelosi), Katie Morris (Mike Morris) and Matt (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Brady and Emilia; his grandson Jon (Dani); his great grandchildren, Izabella and Jaxon; his grandson Corey (Erika); his great grandchildren, Haley and Peyton; his granddaughter Cassidy; and his sisters, Carol Branchaud (Gagnon) and Linda Houde (Gagnon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your local youth sports organization in Donald's name, as this was a cause close to his heart.
