She is survived by: her mother Ellen Murphy (Bernal); her husband Les of Methuen; her sons, Ricky Bengtson of Los Angeles, CA and JC Bengtson of Wilmington, MA; her adoptive son Justin Strong of Arlington, MA; her mother-in-law Collie Rivella (Leon) of Chelmsford, MA; her siblings, Shannon Ploude (Tom) of Methuen, Dawn Scanlon (Bill) of Palm Coast, FL, Melissa Morgan (Bruce) of Raymond, NH, Megan Murphy of Manchester, NH and Sean Shisko (Tracy) of Manchester, NH.; her stepmother Tammy Murphy of Manchester, NH; her nieces and nephews, Jacqueline, Amelia, Caitlin, Erin, Lexi, Aeris, Jimmy, Kevin and Sean Jr.; and her great-nephews, Liam and Colin.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home and Cremation Service (80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa Church (22 Plymouth St, Methuen, MA 01844).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
