It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard J. Lavoie of Methuen, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Lena Lavoie; and his foster mother Lucy Catania. He is survived by: his wife Dorothea A. Lavoie (Marzadek); his children, Michael Lavoie (Nancy) of Salem, NH, Mark Lavoie (Lorraine) of Methuen, MA, Heidi Lavoie-Knipe of Methuen, MA and Eric Lavoie (Liz) of Methuen, MA; his grandchildren, Katie Valleriani (Val), Christopher Lavoie (Ashley), Brooke Auriti (Marcello), Jason Lavoie, Rachael Knipe, Nicholas Lavoie, Caitlyn Lavoie and Christina Lavoie; his stepgranddaughter Alicia Moro; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Ayla, Sophia, Stella, Emiliano, Chloe and Chase.
