He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter K. Kaplan and Mary Kaplan (Baron); and his siblings, Dorothy McCarty, Larry Kaplan and Thomas Kaplan.
He is survived by: his wife Irene N. Kaplan (Glemboski); his sons, Robert Kaplan (Elizabeth) of Castle Rock, CO, Craig Kaplan (Amy Laporte) of Suffield, CT and Scott Kaplan (Lauren) of Suffield, CT; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jacob, Bridget, Lucas and Samantha. He is also survived by three nieces & one nephew and their families; also two sisters-in-law.
Due to COVID-19 and the family's concerns for the wellbeing of everyone the use of face masks will be required for all facets of the funeral services.
