He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton E. Parkinson and Leola Parkinson (Osgood). He is survived by: his wife Joanne E. Parkinson (Chapin); his children, Dawn Lapio (David), Debra Phipps (Charlie) and Dale Parkinson (Alicia); and his grandchildren, Annika, Audra and Aidan Dankwardt. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
