He was predeceased by: his parents, Horatio Grant and Louise Grant (Walsh); his wife Lorraine Nye (Nye); his daughter Linda Day (Greg) of Lynn; and his sister Martha Brunick.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Grant (Kim) of Saugus, Michael Grant (Bridget) of Brookline, NH, Sean Grant (Cathy) of Saugus and Lisa White (Daniel Savoie) of Wilmington; his siblings, Joanne Gillis, Maureen Salvage, Cheryl Grant and Michael Grant; his grandchildren, Andrea Day, Jared Day, Kara Grant, Thomas Grant, Emily Grant, Matthew Grant, Kate Grant, Nicholas White and Olivia White; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Tony, Cora and Theia. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (809 Main St, Melrose, MA 02176). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Robinson Funeral Home, Inc. (809 Main St, Melrose, MA 02176). A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at the Wyoming Cemetery (205 Sylvan St, Melrose, MA 02176).
