We bid farewell to Shirley Samson (Melrose, Massachusetts), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 85. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles and Laura Samson of Derby Rd. She is survived by: her sister Mary Samson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (4 Herbert St, Melrose, MA 02176). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wyoming Cemetery (205 Sylvan St, Melrose, MA 02176).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's School, 4 Myrtle St., Melrose, MA 02176.
